* 7 Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says the LORD Almighty.
"But you ask, 'How are we to return?'
8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me.
"But you ask, 'How do we rob you?'
"In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me." [Malachi 3:7-9 NIV-link]

Uh oh...don't know whether to laugh or cry...
ReplyDeleteThat church sign speaks volumes. Sadly, it seems like that's what people are looking for these days.

Hi Jim ~~ Thank you so much for your very kind words about my blog. I try to have a bit of variety and it seems to work OK. Glad you liked the Keeping old things story.
ReplyDeleteThat was a really old car you and friend Bill were working on - I was born in 1934. Glad his remarriage turned out better for him.
The photos of my kids are in two frames - I just put them beside each other to photograph.
Take care, thanks again, Regards,
Merle.
Yea, I know those signs aren't "real". But they still can be true!
