The Harvest of the Lord:

.

14. I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one "like a son of man" with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

15. Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, "Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."

.

.
16. So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

.

It is inevitable, are you ready?***

*** The Roman Road to Salvation: (Ibid)

Romans 3:23 -- All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23 -- The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 -- God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. [Also the familiar John 3:16 -- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.]

Romans 10:13 -- But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9-10 -- If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

  6. It went pretty well I think, I never know for sure. I don't really teach much to these people who are mostly older than me, just guide us through the lesson and keep them thinking.
We had a big class, 26, I had made 28 handouts!

  8. Jim, that's all I do too, just go through the lesson. I'm the youngest in our class and they all know FAR more than I do about the Bible, so I certainly don't teach them but they call us teachers so that's why I use the word teach! It's kind of enjoyable though and I get more out of the lesson if I have to be the one "guiding" it since I've studied and prepared more.
