This isn't Orlando, but it sure seems like it lately

Every afternoon lately we have been having a rain squall. It lasts for a few to 20 minutes and it's over.

We are in Texas, not Florida. Is there meaning to this?

All streams flow into the sea,
yet the sea is never full.
To the place the streams come from,
there they return again.

I forgot, only Texas has these huge Texas size rain drops!

  2. Thanks, Cliff, for the vote. I'm predictiing there won't be ANY YES votes. Never too late,
I did a poll of the Sunday school class (I was teaching so I could do that) and they were all mortified at the thought! Worse yet when I said that I had heard Rosie for The Price Is Right suggested on TV.

  5. Hi Jim ~~ At least you are getting some rain. We need lots more as
in a couple of weeks, we will not be allowed to water outside at all.
I have not heard of a Swine Festival
    before. Take care, Regards, Merle.

  7. Up here in southeastern PA we have been getting storms that are only lasting a bit too. But along with the rain is lightning, thunder etc.
The world she is a-changin' and things just aren't the same as when we were kids.

  9. Rain!! Oh, send us some Jim!! We are maybe (hope and pray) going to get some tomorrow. We have a better chance than we've had in awhile. The grass is all dying in our yard. No need to mow though! I know the farmers and anyone with gardens desperately need RAIN!!!
