Yesterday I woke up at 8:15. The sun had risen early at 6:39 a.m.
I wasted a good hour of sunshine all because of the end of daylight saving time.
You say it doesn't work that way? Go figure. And we plan to do it today again.
Oh yes, Adi wasted that hour too, she was still snoring away (in her bed beside our bed) until I woke up.
Our cats were just as confused with the time change. One was screaming in my ear as she crawled all over me in bed letting me know I was late with her breakfast.
ReplyDeleteAdi is so cute carrying the teddy bear! Your flowers are still pretty too. Do they last all year round down there?
ReplyDeleteRachel -- These flowers, impatiens, might last all year, they are really at Karen's house.
ReplyDeleteWe had them in Friendswood, south of Houston, and never had to replant them. They lasted and/or seeded themselves.
Karen and Billy live just west of Houston, south of I-10, in Katy, Texas. It has become a suburb.
Anyway, Adi was taking her bear to the car as we were going home. Adi had spent the week there.
I made her turn around and come back for the photo op.
Cheyenne --I wouldn't ever let a cat in bed with me. Maybe just to wake me up, but when they jump on the bed in the middle of the night they wake people up too.
Bad cat.
All -- Even those who haven't commented yet (and please do), yes Adi is a cute dog! Very cute.
..
I know what you mean about the time thing, I'd much rather have the extra hour at night than in the morning, it makes you wonder who has all these bright idea's. Bob.
