Information added after first posting:
The driver, a friend of Mary Lou, was not injured. The passenger in the other car was taken to the ER via ambulance but her injuries did not seem severe.
The car was totaled with cost to repair estimated at $14,500. The insurance payment was about $15,700 less $500 deductible. The car was a 2004 Lincoln LS with about 65,000 miles on it. It always had the best of care and maintenance.
The rules are simple:

O help! This is so sad! I always feel there is some kind of tragedy involved when I see damaged cars like this! Someone is hurting!
ReplyDeleteOh ouch! I hope she's ok!
ReplyDeleteOOPS! Hope Ruby Tuesday is a whole lot better than the day the accident happened.
ReplyDeleteDear Jim,
ReplyDeletegood for Mary Lou she was sitting on the other side, If she was driving that is.
Hopefully there was noone in the car, cause that must have been a big bang.

Dang, I'm sorry to see. Of course, with modern engineering, that could have been a collision with a push mower.
ReplyDeleteOh ouch! Hope nobody was hurt, but it sucks about the car regardless.
ReplyDeleteI hope Mary Lou is OK! :)
ReplyDeleteOh no! Hope things are ok with you...
ReplyDeleteI am here with Ruby Tuesday and Naked On a Horse.
In answer to your questions on how that drink turned red. We have found 3 different cassis sellers. One is red, was is a deep red, and one is purple. This drink was made from the red variety. Sometimes it will look purple...
ReplyDeleteI liked the Lincoln LS, one of Ford's best. Glad nobody was hurt badly and hope the insurance doesn't total the car...
ReplyDeleteUh oh! Not a pretty sight at all, but a good reminder that we always need to be alert. Glad to know that no one was seriously hurt. Thank goodness for insurance. Happy car shopping...

ReplyDeleteUnbelievable the cost to fix cars these days. When cars were cars, and not plastic, all you needed was a huge plunger to fix that puppy.
To quote Cheyenne, "OUCH!"
ReplyDeleteWhat an awful thing to happen to a Lincoln! Glad to hear no one was hurt seriously, tho I am sure everyone was finding bruises and sore spots for the following several days.
Praise our heavenly Father above no one was hurt.
ReplyDeleteLori
