Ruby (Red) Tuesday -- Mary Lou's Car

Posted by Picasa
.

Information added after first posting:

The driver, a friend of Mary Lou, was not injured. The passenger in the other car was taken to the ER via ambulance but her injuries did not seem severe.

The car was totaled with cost to repair estimated at $14,500. The insurance payment was about $15,700 less $500 deductible. The car was a 2004 Lincoln LS with about 65,000 miles on it. It always had the best of care and maintenance.

.

The rules are simple:
On Tuesdays you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that contains the color RED.
Your photo can contain lots of RED or a little bit of RED

AND (please)
post your link here with MaryT

I will might post a NEW Ruby Tuesday each some Tuesdays.

  5. Dang, I'm sorry to see. Of course, with modern engineering, that could have been a collision with a push mower.

  8. In answer to your questions on how that drink turned red. We have found 3 different cassis sellers. One is red, was is a deep red, and one is purple. This drink was made from the red variety. Sometimes it will look purple...

  9. I liked the Lincoln LS, one of Ford's best. Glad nobody was hurt badly and hope the insurance doesn't total the car...

  10. Uh oh! Not a pretty sight at all, but a good reminder that we always need to be alert. Glad to know that no one was seriously hurt. Thank goodness for insurance. Happy car shopping...

  12. Ouch!
Unbelievable the cost to fix cars these days. When cars were cars, and not plastic, all you needed was a huge plunger to fix that puppy.

  13. To quote Cheyenne, "OUCH!"

What an awful thing to happen to a Lincoln! Glad to hear no one was hurt seriously, tho I am sure everyone was finding bruises and sore spots for the following several days.

  17. Wow - it is so hard to image that it would cost that much to fix it!

Will next week bring us a photo of a shiny new red sports car? :)
