First Visit With Santa -- Ruby (Red) Tuesday -- Ho Ho Ho

Breakfast With Santa
The Jim Bunch Eats Again

Had you ask, we would have said there would be a seventy-five percent probability that KP would smile at Santa. Of course that left 25% for crying and other.

I would have been comfortable with that because Lauren seldom cries, her laughs outnumber the cries about 90 to ten. She is a happy child, she takes that from my side of the family. I dare say though, that sometimes when I smile I am not laughing at all on the inside. 'Nuff said.

After the nice visit mother wanted to be in the picture with Santa.

Karen still makes her Santa list. At her age some don't.

Her tastes became too rich for us so we made her to be on her own. So she got educated good and got a really good job. Now between her and Santa this little Momma doesn't hurt for things.

No Christmas is complete without a 'generations photo.'

This is ours. Doesn't Mrs. Jim look proud!

And KP is so photogenic. She will rival Adi for that.

BTW, Adi and Katrin spent the night before as did Mrs. Jim and I. A surprise picture is coming about that (this and that post).

Did someone ask about breakfast?
Yes, we had a very nice breakfast at Billy and Karen's golf clubhouse. Billy was out playing golf right after the Santa visit. He had an egg taco before to help him keep his two handicap.

I started mine with a two egg omelet complete with everything on the table except jalapenos. That meant bacon crisps, ham, tomato pieces, green and red pepper pieces, mushrooms, and two types of cheese went in to accompany the eggs.

On that plate I had some hash brown potatoes and red and green peppers, some crisp bacon, and a sausage patty. On other plates I had waffles with fruit, whip cream and maple syrup, and bacon. I had two of those, one half waffle at a time.

There was the desert plate after that with more coffee. My desert was a Southern biscuit with white gravy on one half and strawberry preserves on the other.

Afterwards I looked about as satisfied as KP. I even had a little nap while Mrs. Jim drove us (the four--Mrs. Jim, me, and Adi and Katrin) home.

Adi and Katrin had very nice doggy bags for a mid morning snack. We always do that when there is a buffet.

  1. Beautiful family and mother and daughter do favor. That santa looks like I do in my santa suit, although I'm sure that's the real one.

  9. Dear Jim,
Your wonderful family has got the loveliest Santa ever.
    Ruby velvet robe, wow!
Then again, I guess your Santa is a descendant from a bishop, whilst our nisse is a little fellow living in the barn.
KP is just the most adoring child.
I love her all the way from Norway.
One can so easily understand that it was the Baby Jesus the three wise men came to worship.
There is no greater wonder or innocence than a newborn baby.
Mrs. jim is looking swell as always, she should be proud and feel blessed.
    A should you.

I took my 4 yr. old granddaughter to see Santa on Monday night, she was sooooo excited. It was worth the wait in line to hear her talk to him.
