We played with the goats in the petting zoo
We fed the giraffs then gazed at them for a bit
We rode the merry-gp-round
We ate a nice lunch from Grandma's bag
We took pictures a zillion times
The elephants were to KP the most amazing. They were huge!
We came home. KP played circus with Katrin after that.
Can you keep up with an eighteen-month-old?

Or do less. All she requires is a BLUE PICTURE or BLUE THOUGHT, you don't have to write.
(Note here the blue jeans and blue sky if you can't find any other blue)

How fun. I so remember bringing my grandbabies to places like this. What an adventure it is.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. Big hug. :)
The zoo's a good place to get something to eat.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to have an 18-month-year-old around for the fun...but they can sure tire you out! :))
ReplyDeleteI went to the zoo once with 19 3 year olds. I think one 18 year old would be a piece of cake! She could only run one direction at a time.
ReplyDeletea petting zoo is heaven to most kids.:p
ReplyDeletei wonder how big is the bird sculpture. my Midweek Blues
That sculpture is to interesting. But my favorite photo is the last one. What a cooperative little doggy!
ReplyDeleteHi, Jim! I haven't seen you in a while. So glad you popped in to say hello! That grandbaby is a little beauty. She'll be speaking with a lovely English accent before you know it!
ReplyDeleteYour question: "can you keep up with....
ReplyDeleteMy answer: "oh, how I wish...
What a pleasure to gaze upon this beautiful child. Her hair color is beyond my envy. Dark haired babies have been my favorite for a lifetime.
You two lucky grandparents!
Hi Jim ~~ What a wonderful day for you, Mrs.Jim and KP to visit the zoo.
ReplyDeleteThe animals are a great education for the little girl.
Thank you for your kind comments about my family and the photos. I am very blessed. The floods have been awful and have now reached Gympie where my brother lives. He lives on a hill in a high rise Queenslander house so will be safe. He is due to have his other eye operated on Thursday and the roads are cut, so may have to reschedule.Glad you and Mrs. Jim
enjoyed the Mime joke. I try to
stay within the decent range (most
of the time). Take care, Regards, Merle.
