Fooling around with a lion can certainly be risky! Nice write! Enjoy your break Dr Jim!
ReplyDeleteHank
Was that the MGM lion?
ReplyDeleteLost in interpretation, Jim? LOL
ReplyDeleteI remember that lion and that growl too. Very well done Jim.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. :)
Being king (and a cat), Metro will probably growl only when it pleases him. Tricky business getting a lion to perform. Good one, Jim!
ReplyDeleteBtw, this is one of the five different lions that MGM used over the years. It's most likely the lion named Jackie (that was a boy's name back in the day), whom MGM used from 1928 through 1956. They used Slats from 1917-1928, Jackie ('28-'56), Tanner ('34-56), George ('56-'58) and Leo ('57-present).
ReplyDeleteMy two youngest had their pictures taken holding a lion cub. I am afraid of anything larger! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jim, for persevering! Somehow, I got a lot of comments. I did leave my name on Jenny's link. Don't really know what happened. Thanks for letting me know.
ReplyDeleteHave a super day!
Adds a frill? Sounds like a kill!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chuckle, Jim.
Here kitty, kitty!
ReplyDeleteSeems you've been busy traveling the world Jim. Do you remember where you live?
