my Six Words:
My friend has no 2014 birthday
If she had, it would have been after February 28 and before March 1. That would have been on February 29, on which day she was born. But there was no such day this year, she will have a birthday in 2016 (February 29, 2016), a Leap Year.
So I sent her this "not" Birthday Card.

Six Words Saturday fine print:
Most unfortunate on this earth, once in 4 years. Would rather that it is celebrated on March 01 every year. Biologically one is off the mark by just one day in reality. You did right to have it sent Dr Jim! A few days before March 01 should be ok!
ReplyDeleteHank
That is the same for my brother in law. I believe his mother chose the date deliberately :)
ReplyDeleteI had an aunt who died in her nineties, having had only 24 birthdays. Tough on little children for whom birthdays are special. Not so bad for women d'un certain age!
ReplyDeleteI don't actually know anyone in this circumstance, Jim, but I wouldn't mind if it was me. I'd have 2 celebrations (28th Feb and 1st March) every year except a leap year :)
ReplyDeletePlease pass along my best unbirthday wishes, J.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I have often wondered how people who were born on leap years celebrate their birthday. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteFortunately even though I was born in a leap year my birthday is Feb 27th so I don't miss out. Happy Non-Birthday to your friend.
ReplyDeleteShe will always be younger than you! Hehehehe! I like here card!
ReplyDeleteI like that card! I was born on Feb. 28, in a leap year. If I had been born 7.5 hours later, I would be 12.5 years old in 2014.
ReplyDeleteLook at it this way.....she only gets a year older once every 4 years! hahah!
ReplyDeleteI like the card! I like the idea of having a two day birthday 28th & 1st and then every four year I would have a three day birthday! Birthdays where you don't actually age sound wonderful. Happy Saturday Mr. & Mrs. Jim!
ReplyDeletea 'not birthday card' nice one; have a good weekend
ReplyDeletemuch love...
Nice idea, Jim.:)
ReplyDeleteThis is a very unique and special card, Dr Jim :)
