JP was given a lesson on demolition engineering by his cousin, KP. JP is a fast learner as you can see.
JP is now eight months old and he likes to play with the other children.

2. Starts with "B" for Boots.~~ If I was a girl I would wear tall black boots and very short skirts. That's the way I like my boots, for ladies.
Of course I can't change that, I'm way too old. I do have boots, two pair. I have my Army boots, very old now. I also have a nice pair of cowboy boots, a present from Mrs. Jim.
Trouble is that I can no longer wear boots, men's for sure. My podiatrist has me wearing athletic shoes with generic arch supports.
Wonder what I'd look like in a black pair of sandals?
3. (a) Outside ~~ Well, the first two pictures are 'outside' of our home. I took these during the candle light portion of our church's Christmas Eve worship service. We had there services with nice attendance at them all. ?

3(b). Outside ~~ These are outside of our home. Also taken Christmas Eve Day. [again, click on a picture for a larger size]
The fine print: Teresa of Eden Hills is running this meme, Friday's Hunt. She has three alternatives for us to post about but this one, Alphabet series, will be the one I will try to follow and post about. - Her rules are: "Welcome to the first linkup for Friday’s Hunt. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter."
- The Mr. Linky address here has others who are participating if you would to read what these folk are doing for the Friday post
- For the week of January 8 our assignment was to post on any or all of these ideas: (1) Week's Favorite; (2) Starts with "B"; and (3) Outside.
Thanks for joining in. Your great-grandson is certainly a cutie! I'm kind of in that spot of foot issues preventing me from wearing boots. I wish I could find good orthopedic muck boots though. LOL As an Iowa fan, I have to say I just don't approve of that Cornhusker. ;-) The snowman and deer are pretty nice though.
ReplyDeleteThey are at their cutest when they bring back memories one had seen before. Two front teeth we've seen on the others and when they show them then they've owned up to have progressed one more stage of development. We rejoice with them for having 'arrived'. Thanks for sharing Dr Jim!

Love the stone work on your home and your grandson is so cute. I wear bots f one description or the other all winter. Have a lovely week ahead.
ReplyDeleteThe joys of getting older. I have given up on heels and feel safer when all parts of my feet are touching the floor. Great grandchildren will be the next generation for us and I look forward to having babies around again.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love the Christmas Eve candlelight service when the lights are off and the church is illuminated by all the candles?
Well, Jim, if you nice legs, you'd look great in sandals. :-) JP is very cute.
ReplyDeleteThe View from the Top of the Ladder
You did well with this week's Friday Finds, Jim. JP is an amazing demolition expert. Right now it's way too cold to wear tall boots and short skirts here but I bet there are some young women wearing that fashion. ;)
