Weekend Roundup -- 14-18(b) (for letter "N") -- Reflections too

The 40th issue of Weekend Roundup for this year...
The week's prompts:
(1) Starts with "N"; (2) A Favorite; (3) Near; and (4) Reflections
.

(1) Starts with "N": Nebraska starts with "N".  This plate was the green Mustang II that Mom had in Nebraska, the one that I showed last week with the "M's".  Now that I have the car I have a set of Texas 1974 original license plates for it.

(2) A Favorite:  Chile Relleno is my favorite Mexican food. Normally one Pablono with beans, rice, and some Pico de Galle makes a meal.  This one made two meals as I took half of it home.  Note, the beans are El Charo, sort of a bean soup.  I like them much better than the refried beans.

(3) Near:  "Near" yesterday and today was the thick Fog. We could reach out and touch it.  Note the pool is reflecting the dismal greyish fog.

(4) Reflections: the windows on the side of the tall building at the Houston Medical Center.  This was taken from the 27th floor of my cardiologist patient waiting room. [click on picture to enlarge]

  8. The Mexican dinner looks delish! I love Mexican food and really miss it, it was the best in Arizona, I used to live there. I should have thought of Nebraska, but I didn't. My grandson goes to college there and I have many photos of him in shirts or hats that say Nebraska. Have a good week Jim.
