- the Letter "O" Prompts are:
(A) Starts with "O"; (B) A Favorite; (C) Open; and (D) Reflection(s).
(A) Starts with "O": Orange starts with "O". This was a plate that Dad kept on Mom's '74 Ford Mustang Ghia. I found it in the trunk, but not it's mate. Nebraska used both front and back plates back in '04. I have he Mustang now and have 1974 Texas plates which Classics and Antiques can have.
Notes: I wanted to show you the three Oranges that our Lemon tree produced. We changed the name of the tree to Orange Tree now. And Mom died in 1999 at the age of 88.
For this he came
Where the crawdads sing
Local Wonder
(B) A Favorite: I have a little three line Haiku or better, a Senryƫ poem. This one is also a "Spine poem" for you that I posted on my other blog last week. [click on picture for larger viewing]. The words to my poem are the title words written on the book spines in the picture.
We have been "writing" a Poem a Day during the month of April as this is National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo). So far I am one day absent, the 7th. I will make it up, hat is allowed. You could jump in now if you'd like.
- Books in the picture:
For This He Came; Jesus Journey to the Cross by Bill Crowder, telling the Christian story of Easter;
Local Wonders; Seasons in the Bohemian Alps (of southeastern Nebraska) by Ted Kooser, Poet Laureate, and Professor of English; and
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, wildlife scientist in Africa and Nature writer (Mrs. Jim checked this book from our library, I probable will 'leaf' through it but not read it).
(C) Open: "Pool's Open" for the summer. We've already had one day to reach 90 F here in the Houston Area (we live in Katy, TX, just west of Houston).
(D) Reflection(s): In the Hot Tub above you can see the reflection of Mrs. Jim's and KP's legs. I may update this earlier but probably not. I'm still working on my Income Tax. Due Monday.

...I understand in New York State if I have a 1950 plate that it can use it to register my '50 Ford.

Thanks Jim for being here, enjoy your weekend.
Good one.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing different state's license places. This is a nice one. I have the book, Where the Crawdad's Sing, but haven't read it yet. Looking forward to digging in, though.
