Comes some new Meds
I just lost Seven of my Upper Teeth
My new meds are like goodies, all helpful
Some for my safety, others are for pain
Sure they have to see me through my ordeal
New list is short, adds to the one I had
Only for a week, I'll be fine once more
That is hoping I will be better then
So here is my list of four new to add
Six prescriptions, one semi-annual shot
Then an aspirin, two calcium tablets,
multivitamin tab, vitamin D,
and two stool softeners for softer landings
Now my list of four from left to right,
* Chlorhexidine, that's an Oral Rinse
* Amoxicillin (antibiotic)
500 MG take three times a day
* Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen
("Caution: Opioid Risk or Addiction")
Before made me bold, sleep through traffic lights
* Jar of Cinnamon Red Hot jelly Beans
That last is non-prescription pills
For my one sweet tooth that remains

(A) Starts with the letter "U": Upper starts with "U" for the Upper Teeth that were pulled.
(B) "Under" (Tom's Choice): Under Doctor's Order, "No fancy solid food until my appliance comes in" (i.e. no teeth to chew with).
(C) A Favorite: (and) (D) Street/Reflections: Of course Mrs. Jim is my Favorite. Also though, there is a Reflection of the sign in the top surface of the shiny outside dining table.

ReplyDelete...I'm sorry to hear of your lost!
ReplyDelete...and no corn dogs?
...I like Willie's sign.
Take care and enjoy your weekend, Jim!
The dog should be under the table in any part of the world and obviously has not been trained properly. Must be a big blow to you with a lot of teeth missing so I hope when you get your new choppers they settle in quickly Jim. Have a good weekend and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteJohn's been dealing with tooth issues recently and just finished a round of antibiotics.
ReplyDelete7 teeth - all at once? Oh my! I haven't been to the dentist at all during this pandemic - and I usually go twice a year at least. I do hope your new teeth fit well. Getting old sure ain't for sissies! Wishing you good health.
ReplyDeleteI definitely have my own issues, with my teeth! I was blessed with my Mom's "rotten" teeth while my brother took after my Dad. And, he died at 91 with all his teeth in excellent shape! I don't think he ever had cavities! I don't look to what could be next for me! Take care, Jim! Try to enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteDawn
Sorry to hear about your teeth. Years ago I lost one of my upper teeth near the front and eating wasn't very enjoyable until I got my implant.
