[In the Walmart lot, I parked beside this mistreated Blue Toyota]

How Now Blue Car?

Once was pretty blue 
Owner does not garage me 
Skin's brown peeled and worn


[A spine poem, Senryu--her skin may be well cared for]

Lay your body down 
Even if everything ends 
The skin and its girl

    Yes, this Texas heat does too much to our unprotected vehicles. But today it is only 97 here in Austin. Stay cool.
