8 Listen, my son, to your father's instruction
and do not forsake your mother's teaching.

9 They will be a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.

10 My son, if sinners entice you,
do not give in to them.

Proverbs 1:8-10 (NIV)

Don't be alarmed, that is water
in my glass and I didn't go in.

  7. Hi Jim ~~ Well done on the glass of water and not going in to the bar.
You must have listened to the advice
of your parents and Proverbs 1:8-10.
Thanks for your comments. Sorry you cannot grow camellias where you live
I guess the climate has to be right. I smiled at the guy wanting a divorce
in Las Vegas. Easy come, not so easy go!! The lawyers have to get their fees. Take care, Regards, Merle.

LZ -- You can see by the two links above that I let Mrs. Jim and/or our friends spend their $$$$!

Merle -- I hope you remember that I am a lawyer--lawyer emeritus but still could practice.

Lucy -- I might go live in Telluride if I could afford it. That's been my life story, never being able to afford the things I would like to become accustomed to.

Lori -- This is my 'Serious Sunday' post.

Mrs. Mac -- I do have an image to portray. I do teach Sunday school, but the image is pretty truthful!
