Merry Christmas to all!
I'm awaiting back surgery this week but couldn't resist doing
Christmas morning after. Gloria might find her lost diamond ring in this trash.
Paper's buoyant, into the horse tank. Voila, bottoms up!

ReplyDeletePaper's buoyant, into the horse tank. Viola, bottoms up!"
I hear ya, Gloria, and good luck! I think I lost my first husband to the post Christmas-unwwrap. For days after the Yule-y holiday, I sifted through the scattered foils and other such spent Christmas present trim, but, sadly, I came up short: No "Annoying Dave" (<--That was my secret pet name for him.) to be had. I ended up rolling up "everything" littering the floor under the tree, and setting it out for the garbage pick-up.
"Funny how that long, tied-up wad of old papers resembles a rolled carpet with a body in it," joked one of the muscle-headed trashmen as he hoisted the dead-weighty load into the truck dumpster before heading off to the landfill.
Merry Christmas to you and Mrs Jim, I hope you all have a great day.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Hope your Christmas was merry! Did Santa Bring you lots of good stuff? Super! Me, too!

Merry Christmas, Jim, to you and the Jim Bunch.
ReplyDeleteThe ring might exit the horse's other end. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou have to wonder how many things have been lost in the Christmas clutter. Still, it wouldn't feel like Christmas without it.
ReplyDeleteSorry you need surgery, but hope it gets you feeling better soon. You will be in my thoughts, Jim.
Okay, we have a horse and a lost diamond ring...you guys have quite the imagination!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Good luck to Gloria! She's got a mess to search through, but it will be worth it if she finds her lost treasure. :)
