Six Word Saturday -- The Strange Little Girl

my Six Words:
Not knowing what bugs me. You?

Hint:  I don't know what it is nor where it came from. I only know there was a bunch of rubber-like bumps on both sides of the hard white plastic body.

That reminds me of "The Strange Little Girl" song of the 50's (1951)(Composer(s): Jerry Ross - Richard Adler).  That song, the first verse, is strangely embedded in my brain.
It was sung by Cowboy Copas.  He died March 5, 1963 in the 1963 plane crash that also killed country stars Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins. He was a member of the Grand Ole Opry. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_Copas )

You can read the words below.

Now, my song remembered:

"The Strange Little Girl"

Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl

My sweetheart and I had a quarrel
I was troubled as a body can get
So, I put on my coat and walked out into the night
When a strange little girl I met

Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl

She told me she knew of our quarrels
And I listened as she softly spoke on
She said, true love is rare
So don't lose the love you share
And before I could speak, she was gone

Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl

Ran back to the home of my sweetheart
And I told her of the girl I did see
She said, darling I prayed you'd forgive me and return
For the same little girl came to me

Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl

  1. Massage aid, I should think. Can't tell size from the photo; something kinky, perhaps? Hmmm....

  2. Thanks, Ron. Just a little under three inches long I think.
But right now I don't know where it is. I don't think it is anything kinky. :)

  3. A back massager? (I have one that looks a little similar, but it has a handle)

  4. Dog bone! But massager sounds good too!

  5. if it has bumps on either side of the center piece, it could be a kind of hair barrett, or even a roller for curly hair. Might even be worth a trip to the notions or haircare aisle at walmart or Kmart, see what they have in the way of new fun torture devices for women with hair. If the plastic bumps are soft, it might be a chewtoy for a baby. If they're hard they could be a chew toy for a puppy.

  7. Interesting! Funny thing out of 4 four dogs that I've offered this chew toy, (just like this one, except it was green and white) one totally enjoyed it, and one more slightly does! Hehehe! Where it is now? I have no idea. Misty loves taking toys outside, and only some of them ever return! Is she telling me something?!

  8. maybe this is a type of soap dish- so that your soap dries out on both sides? Or as Karen S. says some kind of dog chewy thing- but I think it's too small as it could be swallowed by some dogs.....anyhow- have a great weekend!
