1. Starts with U: Unusual (or is it Usual?) My Quiz, what is this thing?
Click here for a big hint.2. Week's Favorite: A tossup between the three below.
- Probably I should choose the first one of Mrs. Jim and KP walking to KP's school in the fog.
- Then a tie, I'll pick the large moon because I won't live long enough to see another.
- The bottom one is this week at our local Kroger Grocery store the computer hung up and had to be restarted. That all took about a half hour and only cash sales could be made until the computer was back up.
3. Nature: Notice the egret from my November 4 post is still "fishing" in the twilight. He is walking back to his starting place.
I hope he or she had a big catch that day. There may be many mouths to feed back home.
(Note: The top picture is also a pretty gift from Nature. Useless perhaps)

I hate waiting in line.
ReplyDeleteI had to go look at the unusual nature thing. I would have never guessed it was what it was.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the moon and Mrs. Jim walking KP to school in the fog.
Have a fabulous weekend. ☺
Your week's favorites are all lovely in family ties, nature and it is interesting to watch a supermarket slow down to idle...that egret looks like a pastel colored mushroom. Cool capture!
ReplyDeleteI thought the toadstool was a potato. haha. I like all 3 of your favorites, each evokes a different emotion. Okay, if you insist I like the one of Mrs. Jim and KP the most. :-)
ReplyDeleteI suspected that picture was a mushroom - mostly because I have similar looking ones here! How nice the weather must be for KP and Mrs Jim to be able to wear those clothes. Certainly not that warm here any more! That egret certainly has found a productive spot for his (or her) fishing!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the interesting toadstool. Very unusual. Love the image of the moon. I was horribly remiss in photographing it. Nice shot of Mrs. Jim and KP walking in the fog. I love the image you shared for nature. Thank you so much for joining Friday's Hunt. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI at first thought the top photo was a "potato turtle", but I had to check your link to find out I was wrong :-) Nothing in nature is useless if it captivates us or encourages our imagination! I have been in stores when their computers went wonky and what a line of grumpy customers it makes, while tellers try to maintain composure. Sometimes our heavy reliance on technology leaves us standing still. :-) I love the egret's chosen fishing spot, and I'm betting KP enjoyed that foggy walk to school. I love to drive in fog if the traffic isn't heavy, it's kind of mysterious!
