Letter "F" -- Weekend Roundup and Reflections

The sixth issue this week of my 2021 WEEKEND ROUNDUP postings and ... (THE SIXTH LETTER FOR THIS SERIES) - the Letter "F" Prompts are: (A) Starts with the Letter "F"; (B) "Full" (Tom's Choice); (C) A Favorite; (D) Reflections; and (E) A Lagniappe.

(A) Starts with the Letter "F":  Winter Flowers at the crossing.   No Marigolds or Pansies as they will attract rabbits.

(B) "Full" (Tom's Choice):  A February Full Moon, named a Wolf Moon

(C) A Favorite:   Fireworks in Washington D.C.  Washington Monument is showing at the end of the Mall area.

(D) Reflections:  From the parking garage, a glassed in pedestrian bridge, to the Vaccine Center.  Yes, we had our first COVID-19 shots two weeks ago at our local Houston Methodist Hospital Facility.  Pardon my partial Selfie showing.

(E) A Lagniappe:  A Driving Picture

Bonus Questions:

(1)  Tell about your experience or feelings
about keeping your Flowers over the winters.
We bring a few smaller ones in to the garage if we are forecast to have a freeze or frost.  The larger ones we cover.  Lately though, with Climate Change we haven't been that cold.  They say that snow comes about once every ten years.  We'll see.

(2) What is your favorite Word starting with  "F"?   Mine today will be "Fingers" as they are the chief "get things done" appendages of your body.  Wear a doubled pair of mittens for a morning and you'll get the idea real quick.  BTW, my hands are ambidextrous and multitask adapted, even at the same time, for that I say "Multidextrous".

(3) Anything else you were reminded of here that you  would like to tell about?

  1. (1) Tell about your experience or feelings about keeping your Flowers over the winters. The only flowers I have are silk flowers and they are inside. We don't do flowers anymore.

    (2) What is your favorite Word starting with "F"? Faithful is my 'F' word. More people need to be faithful for many different reasons.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Jim. My best to Mrs. Jim. ☺

  2. Hi Jim, Nice pictures, I never even thought about the full moon! I am not good keeping flowers alive, but I try. The only plant I keep in my house is a Christmas cactus. I was my Dad's. It died once, so my brother took it and kept it for many months, almost a year. He was able to bring it back to life. I hope It will stay healthy, now that I have it, again. How was your experience getting the vaccine? We get ours in a few weeks. Most people seem to have a little soreness in their arm. Have a good week!

  3. Fabulous reflection shot Jim and I love that full moon. At present and for the last month I have had a beautiful flowering Rhododendron called Christmas Cheer flowering and it will go on for at least another month. Best shrub to have in a garden at wintertime as it gives so much pleasure. Have a great week ahead
