Has an "X":  "REXULTI" has an "X", it is a calming medicine.

My Choice:   REXULTI also keeps your elderly mother or grandmother from sleep walking. 

Looks like an "X":  Come out the door of this New Orleans cathedral, imagine you are at the upper left arm of the letter "X", and cross the street towards the lower right leg of the X to the sidewalk on the other side.  

You will be facing the Coffee and French donut shop called "Cafe du Monde".   Have some donuts, called there as Beignets.

BTW,  the word Beignets is pronounced "Ben Yays".  They go really good with coffee. 

I don't call them "donuts" because I don't eat donuts, not since 2013.  Neither do I classify Apple Fritters as donuts.

First of all I'll apologize for being absent for so long, nine months starting with surgery, with a well needed right knee joint replacement.  Okay now

1. Starts with "W." 

A held cat can be a Wiggle Worm but not this on 'after' it gets settled.  This is my granddaughter holding her mother's cat.  He loves to be held as you see. 

3. Weather.  

It was raining hard yesterday, two inches for twenty minutes

Has an "X":  Her name is Marceline (after the "l" I guessed).

Our new great great niece is Extra cute, Extra small, and Extra happy.  For the picture she was just newborn.  At birth she weighed 4 lbs 13 oz and was 17 inches long. 

Tom's request, an"Xword":   Before my knee joint replacement surgery I'm having a bunch of X-rays. Soon after that I hope not to need this wrist band. 

For James, Reflections and/or Street/Candid Captures:   I can't remember the port our ship was pulling into or could be leaving.  Overseas for sure.

Starts with "V":   "Victory" starts with "V".  Player and Rooters, hoping for a win.

A Favorite

Tom's request, "Various":   A couple of my various toy cars.  My 1:18 scale model car collection is in the 30s, most are still in moving boxes from our move nine years ago to Katy to be near our daughter's family.  

More than half are ones similar to the various Fords that I owned or wanted to own.  My school car was for a few days a 1937 Ford until Dad traded it in for his 1948 Ford pickup which I drove to school my last two years.  I always wanted a 1964 Ford Convertible.  

A Lagniappe:   I did give myself my 1998 Ford GT Convertible as a retirement present to myself in 2000.  

It is now a Texas antique car. I drove it Monday to a car show, top down before it got too hot.   After a stop at the grocery store I drove home top-down still and air conditioner on.

A lady opened her refrigerator and saw this rabbit sitting on one of the shelves.

"What are you doing in there?" she asked.

The rabbit replied:

"This is a Westinghouse, isn't it?"

The lady replied "Yes it is."

"Well," the rabbit said,

"I'm westing."
"I hope you have a Happy 
  and Hoppy Easter!"

The National Weather Service said it confirmed a tornado with peak winds of 110 mph (177 kph) touched down near the northwest Houston suburb of Cyprus in Harris County.

Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, the county’s top elected official, said crews were still trying to determine the extent of the damage and the number of casualties from Thursday’s storms. Houston Mayor John Whitmire said four people, and possibly five, had died.

“It was fierce. It was intense. It was quick, and most Houstonians didn’t have time to place themselves out of harms way,” Whitmire said at a news conference."

A fine "Trio", Me (Jim), Ado. and Mrs. Jim  [A trio of three make for a pair.  Two Pet therapy teams.]  Tom's request, "T"rio: This is a picture of our dog, Adi with Mrs. Jim and I in 2005.  She was a purebred female tri-color beagle. Adi was our younger daughter's dog.  She had thought her new apartment allowed dogs but then she found that they did not allow beagles.   So Adi had to come to live with us. That is me, Jim, on the right, and Mrs. Jim on the left. All three of us had just passed our therapy dog examinations. Whew!   This is Montgomery Intermediate school, where all three of us would tutor sixth grade reading students. That year Adi and I also visited folks in an assisted living home on Tuesday afternoons. She was well liked there. We heard a lot of dog tales (worked to be a pun here) from these residents, mainly about dogs that had to stay at their former homes or were in their earlier lives. A Favorite:  Adi is retiring from Pet Partners . Adi's working life link Lot's about Adi link . Dear Jim, Thank you for notifying us. A Favorite:  Strawberrys and Raspberrys in a cake.  Love them!!  Our younger daughter brought them over, saving for herself a piece, as she is the only one in her family who eats this desert.

Starts with "R":  "Return" starts with "R".  Giant Panda Bears will return to a U.S. zoo this summer.

"Yun Chuan is almost 5 years old and is the grandson of Bai Yun, who lived at the San Diego Zoo for 23 years, the zoo said in a news release. His name is a combination of his grandmother's and the province where he came from, Chuan. 

Xin Bao is almost four years old and, like Yun Chuan, was born at China's Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base. The name Xin Bao means "new treasure of prosperity and abundance," and the zoo describes her as "a gentle and witty introvert with a sweet round face and big ears." 

They will be coming in mid-summer to the San Diego Zoo on loan, as they all we had that we had sent back to China.

Everyone was proud of the new Railroad installation, the Herman Park Train. We hadn't ridden this one but sure did ride the other one, a lot. Kids and grandkids all liked it when they were young. Mrs. Jim and BP rode that old one just once.
