Six Word Saturday -- The Strange Little Girl
my Six Words:
Not knowing what bugs me. You?
Hint: I don't know what it is nor where it came from. I only know there was a bunch of rubber-like bumps on both sides of the hard white plastic body.
That reminds me of "The Strange Little Girl" song of the 50's (1951)(Composer(s): Jerry Ross - Richard Adler). That song, the first verse, is strangely embedded in my brain.
It was sung by Cowboy Copas. He died March 5, 1963 in the 1963 plane crash that also killed country stars Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins. He was a member of the Grand Ole Opry. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_Copas )

Now, my song remembered:
"The Strange Little Girl"
Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl
My sweetheart and I had a quarrel
I was troubled as a body can get
So, I put on my coat and walked out into the night
When a strange little girl I met
Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl
She told me she knew of our quarrels
And I listened as she softly spoke on
She said, true love is rare
So don't lose the love you share
And before I could speak, she was gone
Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl
Ran back to the home of my sweetheart
And I told her of the girl I did see
She said, darling I prayed you'd forgive me and return
For the same little girl came to me
Now, I don't know who she was
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl
And I don't know where she came from
I only know there was an angel glow
In the eyes of the strange little girl
My sweetheart and I had a quarrel

Six Pictures — My Alphabe-Thursday (4th), the letter "P" -- and a Quiz
"P" is for 'Petty things' and for 'Petty things' that I like.
The quiz: You can guess which is 'petty' and which is 'pretty'
"P" is for Putting, here when playing miniature golf.
I hope KP, our youngest grandchild, makes her Putt.
"P" is for Peanut butter. I eat about a jar and a half a week.
That is now that the amount has reduced from 18 ounces to 16.
"P" is for Pancakes. This was the first BEAR pancake she made for the day. Guess who got to eat that one? Mrs. Jim has made BEAR pancakes for all of our six grandchildren. This time it was was for KP.
"P" is for Potatoes. KP ate all these and her grilled cheese sandwich.
They both looked really good.
"P" is for Playhouse. There was a 'parade of playhouses' display (Casas for Casa!) of assorted styled playhouses. The playhouses are to be sold next week at auction to benefit CASA, Child Advocates of Montgomery County. Mrs. Jim picked this one, she likes the color blue. It is contemporary style and should sell well. Lots of $$$.
(Oh, yes, today is National Wildlife Day, try to stop by the zoo on your way home.)

The Pears pair was spared, having a tare. Never, never, did House Lady pare a pear on Labor Days. Grandpa did peel his pears, watch for him.

A Hard Day's Night lyrics:
"A Hard Day's Night"
It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog
It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get home to you I find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright
You know I work all day to get you money to buy you things
And it's worth it just to hear you say you're going to give me everything
So why on earth should I moan, cos when I get you alone
You know I feel OK
When I'm home everything seems to be right
When I'm home feeling you holding me tight, tight, yeah
It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog
It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get home to you I find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright owww
So why on earth should I moan, cos when I get you alone
You know I feel OK
When I'm home everything seems to be right
When I'm home feeling you holding me tight, tight, yeah
It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog
It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get home to you I find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright
You know I feel alright
You know I feel alright
