France -- Midi du Canal Part #1 -- SkyWatch Friday (my twenty-eight) -- Our Spring 2009 Europe Holiday

We are off and running
Our ride would take about two hours

We are back -- There is our car
Tim tied us up
He enjoyed his holiday in Europe, we enjoyed his presence.
Tim, our son, is a boatman by profession. He ties up large ships and barges when they get into the Port of Houston. He has been doing this line of work now for over twenty-five years.

Vintage Calumet cans -- Ruby (Red) Tuesday --Free to family members
I sent this message to local family members Monday night, so far no takers. Those more distant are welcome too but I would have to mail them. I would wipe the Nebraska dust off the lid(s) if requested.

Out my a borrowed back door -- Sunset through the clouds
I'm saying borrowed because it wasn't taken from my back door. This pretty sunset over the water was from a balcony of a house being built over on the lake (in our Texas subdivision, Bentwater).
Looking straight down, I almost got sea sick. The little waves were rolling up to the bulkhead. So IF we lived here I would always look out, not down.
Maybe more of Jim's European Holiday posting next week. I have been having a VERY busy week but it's isn't almost over.
Like my mother-in-law (link) would say, "'It won't be long now' said the monkey when he caught his tail in the door."
