James' request, Reflections and/or Street Photos/Candid Captures:   I was at the library again this Wednesday and had an hour by myself to read, work my Sudoku, and work on getting this and my Poetry blog ready for Friday.

This lady who came along and sat across the aisle from me didn't ever say a word or look my way.  She had to know I was taking ''water pictures" for Tom and James' Reflections.  But she didn't even squint or flinch and look my way when I took this one.

Four-year-old KP was driving this Jeep. She's going on
fourteen next month. Check "KP Driving" label at the bottom.
When she gets her license she wants my '98 Mustang Convertible for school

Starts with "W":   Women and Woman start with "W".  We will discuss Women Drivers today.

    1. One of the worst woman drivers I have ever known lived in El Paso, Texas. She ran a stop sign right in front of my Vespa motor scooter. I was riding it down a main thorough fare, she was coming out of a side street.
    2. We were not traveling too awfully fast, each well within the speed limit. She just didn't stop at the stop sign.
    3. So I ended up on the hood of her car. Both of my knees were sore for a long time but nothing was broken. The scooter needed quite a bit of repair. It turned out she did not have insurance for anything except collision (covered her own car). She had just purchased this Pontiac new and that is all the dealer had sold her.
    4. She did fuss at me for being on the street. Then she said not only did I not have a right to be there with the scooter but that I was traveling without any lights on. The policeman told her that yes, I did have my lights on. When I pushed it out of the middle of the intersection the lights tried to come on until I took it out of gear.
    5.  The policeman agreed, he too had seen that.
    6.  The woman was put on probation for her driving and for not having liability insurance she could lose her license.  I had to sign a paper that I would take payments from her for my damages, scooter and doctor, etc., I would notify the Court if she missed even one day on her payments.  Needless to say, she was always on time in paying.

A Favorite:  This was my dad's toy tractor and Wagon.  Now, since Dad died in 2009 at age 97, the tractor is mine and the Grain Wagon belongs to my little sister, Lois.  They are cast iron 1:18 scale models, the wagon has a wooden bed.

Dad's last real farm tractor was like this, an International Farmall M GTA, his wagons were older.  The tractor has joined my other scale model cars, trucks, and tractors.  Most are 1:18 scale, a few are 1:24 or smaller; I have around fifty of them.

Adults having fun in the water:

Playing beach ball in the water with the kids

Stealing from the kids -- rescuing lost golf balls that kids might have sold

These are balls rescued from the golf course, many came from the water, possible the water being held in the sand trap where Sam (not his real name) is raking for balls.  He found several but not his own.

Tom's suggestion, "Water":

A Lagniappe: A Quiz; Describe in as few words as possible could describe the driver of the little grey car.  (hint--my answer is one word)
Answer:  Woman highlight the space to the left and see if you had the right answer.
