Invited or uninvited guest? — MidWeek Blues — As seen on TV

This fellow showed up right in the middle of our living room! What do you think?

It really isn't all that bad. Mrs. Jim borrowed him to see if he could help her back which has been hurting her lately.

His name is Back2Life per the instruction sheet that comes with him. You can read all about him at his Web site, www.GetBack2Life.com.

Or you can click on the pictures below. The first is about how to use him. The second shows how easy he is to put together. Click once on the picture for large but to read it better click the picture twice (unless your browser puts up a 'hidden' button on the bottom right).

A couple-three or four FAQ's here: 1. How do you make him work?
Simple. Lay down in front of him with your head on the pillow. Put your legs up on him with your bottom nestled tightly in his legs at his feet. I have not problem with the pillow but getting my legs up there won't work. Press the power button and let him rock and raise and lower your legs for 12 minutes. By his own timer he makes things stop. You are supposed to do this twice a day, in the morning and before you go to sleep. He says he will relax your back and help the blood flow there. I am sure the Web site above can tell you more. Or so can the TV sales lady.

Note:
I couldn't get up from laying on the floor if I could get down there. So he isn't for me.

2. Does he help your back?

We don't know. Mrs. Jim's back had stopped hurting when she started using him. But the next day her back hurt some. Yesterday her back was feeling better so she tried him out again this morning. I sure hope her back doesn't hurt again now after this use.

Update: Tonight, March 29, Mrs. Jim said she doesn't think she will get one of her own as it really hasn't helped her much if any.

3. How can I get me one of these helpful fellows?

I know of four ways:
a. Borrow one from one of your friends who isn't using hers right now. That is what Mrs. Jim did.
b. Go onto the Web site, www.GetBack2Life.com. I haven't done this but I am sure they will take credit or debit cards.
c. Watch the lady on TV. I think she has an info-mercial but I am not sure. Our friend bought hers from her.
d. Go to your friendly local shopping mall that has a Brookstone store. That might be the best because you can see one for yourself before you buy him. Our friend says the price is the same, mail order or from Brookstone. You save the shipping and handling from Brookstone. If you have stores in your state like we do in Texas then you will have to pay tax over the Internet or by phone order anyway.
Brookstone Web site is here.
The machine, Back2Life, is here. When I looked the price was #199.95. That is what our friend paid plus shipping. There are also customer reviews.
You can see if you have a store here (store locator) . We have six within the Houston area, the closest is at our Woodland's mall 22 miles to our south towards Houston.

Disclaimer:
I am not paid for this review. I do not own a Back2Life machine.

I neither recommend nor intend to disparage Brookstone or this product, Back2Life nor have I received any enumeration from these entities.

If you want to post a MidWeek Blues picture, go get directions from Rebecca by clicking on the logo picture on the right. She has a Mr. Linky and good directions . Just do what I did.

Or do less. All she requires is a BLUE PICTURE or BLUE THOUGHT, you don't have to write.

Abbey Road Baptist Church, London, U.K — Eight things to do in London things 03

Happy Spring! It starts at 6:21 PM per my calendar.

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
Psalm 122, Verse 1 (King James Version)

Turn right into this intersection and you will be on London's Abbey Road of Beatles Jacket fame (link). Generally there are quite a few tourists taking pictures of each other crossing the Abbey Road street as were the Beatles in that record jacket. Driving, you might want to take another route if you are in a hurry as pedestrians have the right of way crossing in the marked crosswalks.

Then Abbey Road Baptist Church (Google link) is almost another block on the right, opposite the Abbey Road Recording Studios. We visited this church again while we were in London during February and March.

On the right below the minister is presenting the church's oldest member a bouquet of roses for her birthday while the congregation is singing her the Happy Birthday song. She was in her ninety's but I didn't catch exactly how old she is. Every visit we have made this lady is in attendance.
