A great Danish — Six Word Saturday — and it's not pastry
It was an open faced sandwich I had this Wednesday at the nice little restaurant just north of Copenhagen, Denmark at the Strandmollekroen.
The technicalities:
One smorstegt og one dampet rod spaettefilet, kaviar, rod dressing, asparages og citron.
In English:
One fried and one steamed fillet of plaice with shrimps, cavia, romaladon dressing, asparagus and lemon.
To make it an open faced it also had lettuce and tomato, and was sitting on a piece of toasted Danish bread.
It was absolutely delicious!

We flew away — Ruby (Red) Tuesday — Where are we?
Here is a nice comfortable wait for our plane. Mrs. Jim did some business stuff while I was the snack server.
I think it will be apparent where we have gone to.
Can you figure out what we were doing from some of these?
Right: Some famous singers had their picture taken crossing this street. Then it was put onto one of their album covers. This is two blocks away from Karen's.
Right: A nice little eatery on High Street. Karen had a haddock cake, Mrs. Jim a pot of mussels, and I had a salmon baguette sandwich. All came with Steak Frites (French fries). The fish cake and sandwich also came with salad. We did a pass around the table on this. All was good.
The next post will be from on down the road.
Please leave some comments now and then while I'm gone. My computer will come with me and I'd like to hear from you.
I might even leave a little post or note here now and then.
And I'll read your blogs some.
But probably I won't resume returning your comments after until I return.
