Six Word Saturday
my Six Words
I like to shop friendly stores
What is your favorite friendly store?
A little hint, one of mine:
It seems that every time I shop at our local Victoria's I am treated most kindly and helpfully. My age may help me as I am older than the average man who comes in.
p.s.
1. Mrs. Jim loves her birthday present (January 1), a pair of V.S's. red plaid long pajamas (she calls them 'Granny P.Js) and a light pink striped gown.
2. I am more at ease at my other favorites, Frys (electronics store), Lowes (hardware and tools), Kroger (groceries) and Houston Amateur Radio Supply.

How to Avoid the Two Words that Cost Thousands in Medicare Bills - NBC News.com
Kelley-N did what advocates advise anyone on Medicare to do. She found out how her husband was classified and asked if he might need rehab later. Then she spoke up -- loudly. She asked so many questions, she said, the doctors grew tired and sent in someone from hospital administration. That person relented and changed Doc N's status to “inpatient.” His entire $22,000 bill was ultimately covered by Medicare.

Our 41 Anniversary (today)
The Bride and Groom
She is my love, I carry her picture
For forty-one years the Lord has been true
That day so long ago I made my vow
To have and to hold, to cherish and love
She was naïve, tender, and oh so sweet
She loved me too, she'd love, honor, obey
We've kept those vows--our love has grown still more
I'd do it again, I know she would too

- How will we celebrate? Yesterday after church we ate at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen Restaurant. That is sort of tradition with us (link to our 33rd).
- This song is true for us: "We got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout." Our fire hasn't gone out. (link to details of our wedding)
- The top picture I have carried with me for 41 years. It got wet in my wallet once when our house flooded and we had to climb out a high window and wade to higher ground.
