Maybe if you would leave a comment here, Jim might read it.
He might even write a return comment (here) from wherever he is when he finds an Internet cafe. Jail

"God Loves You" -- Sunday, August 19, 2007
"God Loves You"
In the quiet, love is reaching.
It’s yours to hold,
Be still and know that
Even when you’re lost and lonely,
And hope is gone, you’re not alone.
Far beyond the understanding,
There’s a hand that leads,
If you believe.
Through the darkness, see the light.
Remember God loves you.
The road ahead is long and winding.
With eyes of faith, you’ll find the way, yeah.
And when the journey leaves you weary,
You can rest in the comfort of heaven’s arms -
Sweet loving arms.
And peace will follow.
Peace be with you always,
As you go.
For now you know that...
Through the darkness, there’s a light.
Remember God loves you.
When you open up your heart,
His love will meet you where you are.
He will always be a part of everything you do.
He is here to set you free,
And give you all the strength you need
To carry on, to carry on.
Through the darkness, see the light.
Remember God loves you. (remember, remember)
Remember God loves you.

My Status Report -- Friday, August 17, 2007:
1. My finger therapy is over! It's not all better but my Medicare Insurance only provided for 20 visits. I have been going for six plus weeks now, mostly three days a week. Just once a week this last one.
This machine pulls in the finger. After all that straightening it wants to stay straight and not bend when I want it to.
And this one? It is to excercise the middle finger by pulling it up against tension. I don't do this much anymore.

Good news too, my senior 10% discount was applied to the alternator.

.
This was the satellite picture after the eye was north of San Antonio and most of the rain had just left Houston.
The soaking rains hadn't come to Houston yet here, but they would, big time!
.
Next is Hurricane Dean, coming to the Texas or Mexico Gulf next Tuesday or Wednesday, after it gets hopped up again after a slowing down around or over the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula.
Except the kids will say I for got my blood pressure information. It hovers around 123/67, perhaps 128/68 when in the doctors' offices. My heart rate is generally in the 60's.

John,
Since you always sent jokes about ladies, I thought you might enjoy this one.
Lady not named
THE BOX OF CHOCOLATES
For all of us who are married, were married, wish you were married, or wish you weren't married, this is something to smile about the next time you open a box of chocolates:
Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in
Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road. As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride. With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car.
Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. The old woman just sat silently, looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail, until she noticed a white bag on the seat next to Sally.
"What in bag?" asked the old woman. Sally looked down at the white bag and said, "It's a box of chocolates. I got it for my husband."
The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or two. Then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, she said: "Good trade"
Jim is gone
Two cannibals were eating. One said, you know I hate my mother-in-law.
The other said, well then, switch to the potatoes for a while.
Check back here in early October.
In the meantime, you might find him now and then over at JIM'S LITTLE PHOTO PLACE. Especially on Wordless Wednesdays.
Or whenever else he feels like going.
Who knows, he may even visit your blog!
