KP in 2016. She's a teen now. |
- Starts with "D": Donut starts with "D". I do a brag for them; I am going on my 19th year without eating ANY donuts since 2004. I do eat Kolache's and Apple Fritters as I don't count them a Donuts. And I've bought a lot of donut holes for KP and other kids and a few donuts for relatives. A poem post about that here. In the photo at right KP has a sack of donut holes and a cholate milk.

A Trail Ride, this wagon is being pulled by a Mule Team |
.
- A Favorite: I'm liking our annual Trail Ride where the 'country' folk and the wannabe country folk harness and hitch up, or ride, their horses, mules, and donkeys. Hinnies?
A: A mule (highlight between here
and the letter "A" to see if you are right.)
Q: What do you get when you cross
a male horse and a female donkey
A: A hinny (Again do the highlighting
to see the Answer.)
- Tom's Choice "Double": Down to Double Diget temperatures this week! Whew, those triples have been tough. And now nights in the seventies again!

Lagniappe: Ducks at the door. I've left my gun at home. Also could be a "Peeking Duck". Really, I don't know much about this duck. It and a few others hang out by our library. It is a nice place for them, a little pond/lake is out back with benches for duck feeding folk. They also have babies at different seasons and are proud to show them off. Guess maybe they are "showing" their small fry ducks "the ropes".
