Weekend Roundup -- 14-18 (for letter "N")
The week's prompts:
1. Starts with "N"; 2. A Favorite; 3. Night; and 4. Lagniappe
1. Starts with "N": New starts with "N". We have a new breakfast room table cloth and FOUR placemats. (Our old set only had three placemats.)
2. A Favorite: (One of my) favorite food is a fried catfish Louisiana style dinner.
Actually I shared my plate with Mrs. Jim. It had five pieces of fried catfish, I gave her two. By the time I decided this meal was worthy of a picture I had already eaten two.
3. Night: Here we are, Louisiana Style, wearing Night clothes in the Morning.
Left to right, Mrs. Jim, SIL Winetta, BIL Dan (Mrs. Jim's Brother), SIL Velma (Mrs. Jim's Sister), and BIL Royce. Mine is the plate in this corner.
4.a. Lagniappe: This white crane is changing his fishing place to one of his favorites upstream. Mostly they sit on the bank and watch for fish or other food for themselves and their families. Both male and female cranes fish for the family.
4.b. Lagniappe: Have to have a car emblem that starts with "N". Soon this will have to skip, I don't think there is or was a car starting with "Q".
Three cars, the well know Nissan and the lesser known and then the Nash Rambler. I've had Nissans before they were called Nissan, they were Datsun. I had two Datsun pickups, a Red 1972 model and a Blue 1975 model.

I also had a 1960 Nash Rambler station wagon. It was a fine car but I rear ended as slow driver and totaled it out. I do not have a scale model of either the Rambler wagon or a Datsun pickup. Mine was Dark Gray with a White top and other white trimmings. It was a Six Cylinder 1960 Rambler 'Custom' Cross Country while this one is a 'Super'.
