HAPPY NEW YEAR
This Week's Prompts are New Year, A Favorite, Festive, and A Lagniappe for the end of the year.
I finished the alphabet last week with the letter "Z". Not sure about 2022, whether or not we will have alphabet photos to find.

My New Year Resolutions ditty. It gets longer over here:
I used to think Resolutions
Never again
After I found out
How far away
Monahans is from me
Monahans Texas
Is 510 miles from me
Here in Katy Texas
Resolutions are useless
Useless as driving to Monahans
Because I don't know
Don't know anyone there
And I don't know
Anything I need to Resolve

A Favorite. Our backyard in the winter. It was 82F this afternoon, we had lunch outside on the picnic table. We may get cold this weekend so I will take care of the Hibiscus by bringing them into the garage.
Festive. The candy corn is a leftover from my Birthday. It and National Candy Corn Day are celebrated the same day, October 31.
This year it was very Festive as we had a family lunch at a nice place. Two of the five kids came with spouses, two granddaughters and spouse, and great grandchildren. After lunch we watched one of the grandchildren play soccer and football
The cinnamon jellybeans wanted to be in the picture and the jars were full of candy when we left the Marriot Hotel in Washington, D.C. a few years ago.

A Lagniappe: This is an old picture that belonged to a friend of Mrs. Jim. The lady died several years ago, we don't know much about the photo, it seems to be taken at a business workshop. The fellow third from the left is of the friend's father.

Reflections. Water Reflections. Nice sunset too. Weather guy is telling us to pack the swimsuits Saturday night as we will have a few days of cold, almost freezing during the nights for the first few. _ _ _ _

Note: I have just about finished with my "jim's little Christmas Tree farm" blog posting for this season. Click this label, Christmas 2021 , to have a peek and monitor my progress.
It has directions to send me a picture of your tree or decorations if you wish to do so.
