Flowers of the earth are appearing, spring is here!

Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.

This is a redbud tree. We have a lot of them here in East Texas, I don't recall them being in West Texas, New Hampshire, or Nebraska.
Those are the other places where I have lived.

We have a small redbud tree in our backyard.

The ornamental pear trees in the front yard are blooming too! I was a little late in getting their picture. Then too, they tried to bloom once before (link) and a frost set them back.

Adi likes this one better. First, it is more her size. Secondly, it has more blooms. Maybe the frost didn't get to it earlier.

Gidday Jim,
Thanks for dropping by, You have spring and we are starting with our autumn (fall) and boy am I looking forward to winter. Today it was 38 deg Celsius (100 deg Fahrenheit) and that was bloody hot.
I was in the second plane(not)taking the photos. A lot of the beach on the Gold Coast is not patrolled by life guards so that's why there's no body on the beaches in the photo. Mostly people go and swim where there are life guards.

We have lots of redbuds here! They dot the hills of KY!! They are usually the first blooms you will see. Our Bradford pear trees are budding but no blooms yet. I wish the blooms on them lasted longer. They are so pretty!

Have a blessed Sunday Jim!

Hey Jim, I noticed that you posted in Poopies blog that you're from San Jacinto. Do you still live there? My 'new' grandmother (it's a great story- below is a link to it) lives there.

Well, shoot. The link didn't come through. We'll try it in two stages:

/weblog/a_belated_anniversary_post/

take out the line break- it's all one link. :)

I have a few pear trees here. They smell so bad and cover everything with green pollen. If they weren't so pretty, I wouldn't tolerate it.

Wow, you really ARE a rocket scientist?!

I love redbuds,

hope you and Mrs Jim are doing good, and being good! :0>

Blessings

Hey Jim I am a little bit concerned about your fries.

Also I haven't been on vacay yet. Going in June with my Gran and I can't wait.

Can I ask you a ???

Well we have two jacaranda trees (I think thats how you spell it) out front and the frost got them. We had two really bad nights in Jan. Anyway do you think that they will come back? I am so sad about them because they are beautiful and your trees reminded me of them.

Anyway I thought that I would ask.

Give Adi a hug from me.

Take care xx

Spring is in the air! I can't wait!

Spring is in the air! I can't wait!

I had 'comment moderation' on and New Blogger wouldn't let me publish it. So I killed moderation and added back word verification.

Before I put moderation on I had three commercials (spammed) put on. They originated from a foreign country, Saudi Arabia.
..

beautiful!

Great pictures!
We don't have redbuds.
Thank you for sharing them.
Have a fabulous day!

Hi Jim ~~ Glad you are seeing signs of Spring with the flowering trees. They look so nice after the drabness of Winter. The million dollars thing was good. In a minute!! Glad to hear the remote gets hidden so men get some exercise. I hope you and Mrs. Jim are
both doing well. Take care, Regards, Merle.
