.

Rose gave her daughter another once-over lookover. She wasn't liking what she was seeing.

Honey dear, you should lay off those pecan tarts.

Tilly Bell saw her mama giving her scowls.

What had she done wrong now?
Not just because you kill the pet cat and hide it under the house?

There are always wonders of awe in your blog posts, Dr Jim :)

Oh dear, not the cat!
Sad, Jim, sad.

I noticed the little girl's tummy, too--she'll have to wear a corset later...poor thing.

I liked the dark humor of your second story. I enjoyed them both.

nice to visit here, mr. jim, u write so well..

Poor, poor kitty!

I was hoping that the little girls tummy wasn't what it looked like, but just made to look larger by the style of her garment, but the kitty. Please don't go there. We love our kitties.

I like your poetry blog. :-)

Rose's daughter will probably have eating issues in adulthood. As for Tilly Bell, she'll become a psychopath! :D Enjoyed them both, Jim, but number two is my favorite.

Hope you are enjoying the time with your grandchildren.
