Letter "H" -- Friday's Weekend Roundup 11 and Reflections and-or Street/Candid Captures
Tom's Requests for this Week's Prompts are Starts with "H." A Favorite. "H"ot.
A Favorite: The Hibiscus is my Favorite backyard flower. This pretty one died as our last hard freeze. The two we have now live in pots and I haul them into the garage every fall.
Tom"s choice, "Hot": When I cook or sometimes on leftovers I put some of this Creole Seasoning Salt into the mixture. Problem is though, I generally make it too Hot for Mrs. Jim.
A Hot Lagniappe: This is one of my favorite Hot mixtures. Not really leftovers, but mixture of things left not really enough to eat by themselves. My mixture is low fat cottage cheese, about to expire crab dip, and sprinkled with the Hot Creole Seasoning Sause.
Reflections and/or Street Photos/Candid Captures: Taken in Italy near our hotel when visiting the Cinque Terre. We had a rental car, of course. (Note: Bad, but I may be too old to rent a car anymore.)

James' request, "Reflections and/or Street Photos/Candid Captures."

Starts with "H": House and Home start with "H".
This is the House and Home where I lived while growing up. My father watched it being moved to this farm location when growing up. He was born in 1910. The present owners have bulldozed it to the ground and then burned the rubble. No one lives now on the farmstead; all live on other farms that they own or in town.
I eat it on Graham Crackers as food with my pills, medicines, vitamins, and stool softening helpers. morning eight, afternoon four, and bedtime five.

...Jim, I thought that you were going to say that the HOUSE was HAUNTED.
...a HIBISCUS would be my favorite too.
...that seasoning would be too HOT for my Sweetie too.
Thanks for stopping by Jim, take care and be well.

Jim. That is a great street photograph and I love the Hibiscus although we do not get them here in N. Ireland. I hope you have a lovely weekend and week ahead.
Beautiful photos Jim and i has the hibuscus also on my balcony standing in a big large flower pot and many bees have already visited as well as the bumblebees and butterflies . Wish you a lovely weekend hereby.
The seasoning is something I haven't tried, we just don't have it here, but it sounds intriguing. I love Hibiscus flowers, we have them here growing just about everywhere.
Hi Jim, I love old photos and the stories behind them, your childhood home is a nice picture to keep. The only creole I ever had was shrimp. I had a good recipe I used to make and serve over rice. Have not had it in a long time. I also love the flower. I posted letters G and H together this week. I was away 14 days to CT for my high school reunion. Have a good week. Dawn
