We have a house guest, a grand ...
2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2 (New International Version)
Now this cat isn't exactly a stranger to us. We do think she is an angel, an angel couldn't be any nicer or better mannered and behaved.
We don't see her as often as we would like. She is our grand cat and we would like to have her visit us more often. Amber Adi's sister.
Amber is staying at our house for a week. Usually she lives Karen, Billy, and BP but they are on and off the road or air or just ...
Amber is living upstairs at our house, she and Katrin had a hard time getting acquainted the last time they were together. We will spend a lot of time with her this week and we are thinking she will visit some with Adi.
Here, she found a nice soft place to purr and be petted right after she got here.
I tried to catch her laying on her back, legs up. But she rolled over when she heard the camera turn on.
Throughout the Bible, the people of God were being hospitable. Peter did not even know these people but he took God at his word and invited these people in:
(From Acts 10 (New International Version) )
21 Peter went down and said to the men, "I'm the one you're looking for. Why have you come?"
22 The men replied, "We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to have you come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say."
23 Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests.

This is such a beautiful Cat. When I moved back home to Mississippi, the house I lived in had a cat that looked just like this one. He was wild, and when I moved in, he did not leave.
I called him Tom, as it did not let me get close enough to discover what gender it was ... I grew to love Tom. I feed it, bought gifts for it, etc. There are times when it left for two weeks at a time, and it worried me. Whenever I left out of town I made sure he had plenty of dry food and water ... always Tom was happy to see me when I came back.
Once he left half a rabbit on my patio. I thought it was a gift from him, was I crazy? I thanked Tom for the gift and picked it up and brought it into the house and put it in the garbage.
One day Tom wandered off and did not show back up. I was crazy with concern, even if he was a wild cat, he had never did that in the two years we had gotten to know each other.
I talked to the neighbors and they told me that he was a very old cat, and probably wandered off to die. I was heart broken, but understood.
Ahh Jim, this cat looks so much like Tom ... it touches my very soul.

A beautiful cat, Jim. This one is in very good company.
(By the way, I added your link to the OSI Mr. Linky for today. Don't know why it didn't publish on time; it was set to.)

I love the photos of the beautiful cat.
One of my daughters came home one rainy evening with a wet, white cat which had one blue eye and one green eye.
She had found the cat wandering in the rain near a Huddle House and was afraid she would get hit by a car, my daughter asked could she keep her.
I told her to go back to the Huddle House the next day and post a paper saying she had found a cat and if no one claimed it...it was OK with me if she kept her.
The cat was given the name of Huddles.

I have an affinity for orange cats..the ones I know of (various people here and there) are rascals for some reason? My oldest cat doesn't seem to get along with the others (only two cats now)..so I'm going to wait before I have another. Jim, you got me worried there..I did read that (I had to go look for it..its under Two Hawaiian Gecko's) but I replied on your other blog? I'm glad your not going any place and that this happened long ago-(hugs)
Aw Mr. Jim....Amber looks so sad.
Aren't you giving her her daily dose of "Deal Or No Deal"?
You do know that Fox shows it every day now, eh?
Maybe since they are down to only two models, Amber is losing interest.
After all hasn't she been pruning herself up and tying to get into shape the last year, to apply for being a model on her hero, Howie's show?
Oh well what can you do?
Maybe you can interest her and her sister Adi and their Auntie Katrin into a game of dominoes!!!!
Love Terry
Maybe I will invite the three of them to our boy, Nathan Mac's birthday tomorrow. What say Mr. Jim?
