TGF! I am really glad it's Friday! — MidWeek Blues — Question: What is this thing?
Answer in a bit.

We've been doing some remodeling of our house as you might know from the earlier posts.
The major one was the redoing the floors in the kitchen, breakfast room, dining room, living room, and the study (Mrs. Jim's music room). The first two got new tile, the other three rooms got engineered wood.
This blue ball was used by the wood layers to dispose of their surplus blue masking tape. See the pictures below.
Making of the blue masking tape ball:

LEFT: The making tape is temporary to secure in place the first ones down to use as a straight reference for the following.
CENTER: The ball in relation to the floor and a trash can.
RIGHT: A roll of blue masking tape the guys used. Please note it is laying on the previously done (replacement) kitchen and breakfast room. So you can see what our new kitchen tile looked like.
Doing the floors on our part was easy and hard. Easy was to pick out the products. Well not too easy, really.
Hard was the moving all the light objects and light furniture out of those rooms. A lot went into the garage, upstairs in the game room and guest room, into my office and into our bedroom. Then it all had to be put back.
I am glad it is Friday. I will tell good things on Saturday.

Or do less. All she requires is a BLUE PICTURE, you don't have to write.

That's pretty cool. In 20 years or so, maybe your town will feature the world's largest ball of blue masking tape.
I love your new floors. The tiles are beautiful. I want to go out and get my own tape so I can have a ball.

Your floors are beautiful Jim. I love the tile the very best. I'd love to replace ours in the kitchen/breakfast nook one day. That would be perfect too.
Have a terrific day and weekend. Big hug. :)
