The 16th issue of Weekend Roundup for this year...
The week's prompts:
Starts with "P"; A Favorite; and Purple

I also rode a pony to high school my first two years. Minnie would take me there, "up hill and down hill in the snow and rain."
(2) A Favorite: This is my Prize Winning sandwich, Fruit Loops and Nutella on Crustless White Bread.
[on the Right, click to make larger]
(3) Purple: A Purple Chinese eggplant with garlic sauce and rice dish, leftovers from Susie Wong's. Mrs. Jim ordered hers mild, not very spicy.
Not Susie's recipe but this one sounds okay, "This popular fSzechuan side dish recipe for eggplant in garlic sauce is made with Chinese eggplant, which is thinner and longer than the short and thicker eggplant that is commonly available in supermarkets." Go for the recipe.
(4.a) Lagniappe: A Miniature Faery Garden with People Fairies, below left.
(4.b) Lagniappe: And if you don't like the regular Faery Gardens here is a Farm Miniature Garden with two Farmer People.

A nice variety of photos, Jim! I love KP on the Carousel Pony, I think almost everyone enjoys riding the carousel. I love Chinese food, too...but have never tried their eggplant. Does it taste like eggplant we get in our grocery stores? Have a good week.

...now I ask you, who doesn't love to ride a carousel pony, I know that I do! Oh come on, you expect me to believe that you eat Fruit Loops and Nutella on crustless white bread sandwiches? The eggplant, now that's a different matter. Fairy Gardens are or were very popular. Thanks me friend for joining in, enjoy your weekend!
Hi Jim! I can tell you my favorite is KP on the Carousel. We didn't have horses or ponies when I was a kid, but my cousin had one and it bit me on the leg. I didn't like him much after that. :) Have a wonderful weekend.
KP is growing up. I can remember her way back when she was very tiny.
Your Chinese food looks good. Now I'm hungry.
Have a fabulous day, Jim. ☺

KP looks like she might be sporting a "pony tail" in her hair while she's riding the pony - bonus points for you, Jim! I don't think I would be very fond of your sandwich - the fruit loops just make it too crunchy! I love nutella though! The miniature farm garden is so cute - I love the duckling on the "pond!"
