Letter "K" -- -- Weekend Roundup and Street/Reflections

THE ELEVENTH LETTER FOR THIS SERIES - The Letter "K" Prompts are: (A) Starts with the Letter "K"; (B) "Kind" (Tom's Choice); (C) A Favorite; (D) Street/Reflections; and (E) A Lagniappe.

(A) Starts with the Letter "K":   Killarney  starts with "K".  This was our nice B&B find in Killarney.  We stayed there two times. It was on a hill with a wonderful view from our front bedroom window.  We could also walk from there to downtown without driving and parking woes. (B) "Kind" (Tom's Choice):  "Be ye kind one to another" was my mother-in-law's favorite Bible quotation (Ephesians 4:32).  Everyone in her preschool Sunday morning Bible class had that one memorized.  

One morning when she came in two boys were quarreling and the whole class was in pandemonium.  She, upon entering, said, "Have you not forgotten Ephesians 4:32?"  Of which one of the fighting boys quickly replied, "No Ma'am, we just ain't doing it." (C) A Favorite:  We were in box seats Tuesday night at the Sugarland Skeeters versus the Los Angeles's baseball game.  It was all free for us, paid by a group soliciting, for us to live in their apartments as seniors.  Read all about it here.


(D) Street/Reflections:  l am posed sitting across the sidewalk of this Katy clothing store window.   I waited for the white car's Reflection and mine to be outlined on the driver's door to snap this one.  


(E) A Lagniappe:  the city of Katy, Texas  is ready to remember the fallen on 9/11.
