It's time for my Christmas tree blog again this year. Today will be the sevententh when I post it, I started December 05, a Tuesday. Click here to see them for 2023-2 (part 2) and Here for 2023-1 (part 1).
Starts with "Y": Yummy stuff, a gift from a nice neighbor.

A Favorite: This is Mrs. Jim's favorite decoration for the season, he is her Santa's helper. Her college was LSU but it is hard to get LSU stuff here around Houston.
He stays either under our tree or on the hearth. We got him a few years ago at an After Christmas sale in Houston. One side of his sales tag says "Handmade" and the other's said "Made in China".
Tom's suggestion, "Yak": The Coasters, Yakety Yak. This song was an original hit in 1958. It was one of my favorites.

Reflections and/or Street/Candid Captures: The top photo has the "banked" turtles reflection in the water. Not to brag about, the water was rippling.
The lower picture shows the heads of three buddy turtles swimming. Can you see them? There might be another two or more.
The turtles hang out around the bridge was standing on, it's our favorite walking path.

Jim this is Dawn. I am having all sorts of trouble with my blog. I cannot sign on, therefore haven't been able to post. I can't even see Tom's comments to send a message to him. Hopefully you will see this message, I'm not sure you accept anonymous comments. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I wish all my blog friends a Merry Christmas! This has been going on for a while. I usually never sign out of my blog and somehow that happened. I have sent messages to Google and hear nothing. Frustrating. Hello Jim, I just saw your message left to me on my blog. Thank you. I still cannot sign in, so I'm answering you here, I was going to answer you on my page, but I get big pop ups that warn me that if I reply as anonymous, I cannot delete my comment. Today is the first day since Friday that I can actually see Tom's comments on his page. I will send him a message and continue to work on this problem. I've had small issues with blogger in the past, but only one time, a big issue and I lost everything. The reason I'm vesselsmemories2 Blogspot would not even let me use the name I had vesselsmemories. So, I'm trying to be cautious, so that doesn't happen again. Thanks again for your message, I appreciate that. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
