Adi Can . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Help with the search for mistletoe
Mistletoe
It's spring now in Texas
What will mistletoe do
when summer's heat comes on?
It hides--in green tree leaves.
I found these in another tree
for your to see up close.

Word for the day, REMEMBER.
Remember this spot for next
New Year's Eve mistletoe source.
Adi and I found the mistletoe while we were walking.
She would rather be looking for squirrels.

I'm surprised mistletoe will grow in texas - I guess because of the association to Christmas, I tend to think of it as a cold-weather plant. But to your point, it can find shade in the summer. Does it only grow on oaks in Texas? I think that is the host tree in England etc.

Squirrels are more exciting than mistletoe!!
I know where lots of mistletoe is around here but it's too high to reach.
When I was a youngster I used to stand on the back of my horse to reach some mistletoe. Thankfully I had a nice horse that stood still for me!

That Adi just wanted a bunch of kisses Mr.Jim but seeing as you were the only one about, she decided that looking for mistletoe was not very exciting!.....Love Terry
