Letter "P" --- Friday's Weekend Roundup 10 / Reflections and-or Street/Candid Captures

Starts with "P": This is my toy car, a 1:18 scale cast iron model of the 1955 Ford Crestline hardtop. I bought it way back from the farm store in Tekamah, Nebraska, from them after Christmas sale for half price.
Starts with "P": The machine on the rail is in the Peppa Pig Amusement Park in the U.K, just north of Southampton. KP, Mrs. Jim, and a SIL are riding it.
This car, next to the bottom, is another 1955 Ford, on a NAPA calendar, part of that collection. It might be red but I think it is a dark pink. Ford made more pink ones than red in 1955. The other may have been at the Peppa Pig Place, not sure.

The Pink Panther movie had all of us laughing most of the night, it was hilarious. I would recommend going to it. Rated at 'PG', it could have been rated 'G' except for a couple innuendoes and a crotch burning scene. And those weren't nearly as funny as the rest.
Now, I laugh out loud, LOL, I really do. With my mouth open too. I wasn't the only one laughing, everyone was. And I didn't go to sleep once--except during the commercials before it started.
A Favorite: Play day is over. Three Red Shirted Fellows and eight of us others will now go on to Incredible Pizza who is having 'all you can eat' senior lunch for $4.50 plus tax for the 19th hole eating and that four-fifty includes pizza, other entree foods, salad, drinks, and desert. Alcohol is not served there.
These fellows are all in Mrs. Jim's Sunday Bible Class but they let me play with them because our fellows don't Play golf. This course was Private and the owner has gone out of business, there was no buyer for it so it is now closed.

James' Reflections and-or Street/Candid Captures: (Note, this is a repeat of last weeks.) Adi, our now deceased Beagle dog, from our former Montgomery County (TX) found this pretty place on our walk. We spotted it one morning on Our walk around and along the golf course.

Hi Jim! So much pink, I love it! I had a pink 62 VW Beetle, it was custom painted a very pastel pink pearl and gorgeous! My daughter leaned to drive on that car and always loved driving it to school! I wish I had a picture of that, just cannot find one. I seem to think there is one around, though. I remember the Pink Cadillac song and the Pink Panther! Great movie. Take care and have a good week.
