~~ Friday’s Hunt v.2.25 -- "Y" is for ...
Friday's Hunt for the week of December 16th: (1) Starts with "Y"; (2) Week's Favorite; and (3) Festive.
(A) "Y" is for Yellow:
Yellow Busses (and Cars)
and Yellow Mustard
(B) Week's Favorite:
This was taken of the waiting line at ToysRUs as we stood in for Black Friday opening at 6 PM Thanksgiving Evening. The line here is along the side of our Building, it started at the front doors in the middle around the corner, and would extend filling in along to our rear along the back of the building. We did buy some presents.
Note that before this we attended Black Friday at our local Penny's store. But we didn't get in as he lines were to long, these people were waiting for people to leave so that more would be allowed in.
This was all after we had Thanksgiving Day Dinner at Luby's Cafeteria. I had Chicken Fried Chicken and Mrs. Jim had their Turkey Dinner.

Christmas decorations are well under way around. Ours started the day after Halloween.
(D) Bonus -- "Sign Says":
Sign says, ... Click on the picture to enlarge if you need to see more clearly why this sign was necessary. Or is there some other problem? Duno.

I don't know about those lines, I can't think of anything that would be worth it, then again I might think differently if I didn't have bad knees. The shot of the burger is driving me nuts, now that's all I can think of. A burger with yellow mustard.

I don't do lines. I wanted a gift card from JC Penney and the lines were awful. I left and ordered mine on line. Works for me.

You two are far more energetic than I am to stand in line for shopping! I am an Amazon shopper, point, click, send! :-) I have never seen a "sidewalk closed" sign before, and then I would want to walk down it to find out why! :-) Wishing you and Mrs. Jim a blessed Christmas and a bright New Year ahead!
I can't believe you actually go to the Black Friday sales - you are a brave man, Jim! I never did that when I lived in the US. We don't really have them here in Canada. Our big sale day is Dec 27th, and I don't go to those either, but they are never crazy like Black Friday. It is lovely to see your pictures without snow, because here I cannot take any (outside) that don't include a lot of snow. It has been super cold here (-33 F) this past couple of days. I am sure you never have that kind of temperature. Have a wonderful week!
Jim, I missed the yellow car! Really you go out for the black Friday stuff, but this guy! Sadly, Christmas decorations started appearing here way before Thanksgiving! The sidewalk? Beats me!

Nice yellows. That hot dog is mighty tempting. I haven't shopped Black Friday in a long time. You are so patient! Does the sidewalk end shortly past the sign? Lovely picture of the two of you.
