Information added after first posting:

The driver, a friend of Mary Lou, was not injured. The passenger in the other car was taken to the ER via ambulance but her injuries did not seem severe.

The car was totaled with cost to repair estimated at $14,500. The insurance payment was about $15,700 less $500 deductible. The car was a 2004 Lincoln LS with about 65,000 miles on it. It always had the best of care and maintenance.

.

The rules are simple:
On Tuesdays you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that contains the color RED.
Your photo can contain lots of RED or a little bit of RED

AND (please)
post your link here with MaryT

I will might post a NEW Ruby Tuesday each some Tuesdays.

O help! This is so sad! I always feel there is some kind of tragedy involved when I see damaged cars like this! Someone is hurting!

Oh ouch! I hope she's ok!

OOPS! Hope Ruby Tuesday is a whole lot better than the day the accident happened.

Dear Jim,
good for Mary Lou she was sitting on the other side, If she was driving that is.
Hopefully there was noone in the car, cause that must have been a big bang.

Dang, I'm sorry to see. Of course, with modern engineering, that could have been a collision with a push mower.

Oh ouch! Hope nobody was hurt, but it sucks about the car regardless.

I hope Mary Lou is OK! :)

Oh no! Hope things are ok with you...

I am here with Ruby Tuesday and Naked On a Horse.

In answer to your questions on how that drink turned red. We have found 3 different cassis sellers. One is red, was is a deep red, and one is purple. This drink was made from the red variety. Sometimes it will look purple...

I liked the Lincoln LS, one of Ford's best. Glad nobody was hurt badly and hope the insurance doesn't total the car...

Uh oh! Not a pretty sight at all, but a good reminder that we always need to be alert. Glad to know that no one was seriously hurt. Thank goodness for insurance. Happy car shopping...

hope she's fine, here's mine sweetnorms and travelnorms..

Ouch! Glad to hear everyone was okay.

Hope you had a great Labor Day!

Ouch!
Unbelievable the cost to fix cars these days. When cars were cars, and not plastic, all you needed was a huge plunger to fix that puppy.

To quote Cheyenne, "OUCH!"

What an awful thing to happen to a Lincoln! Glad to hear no one was hurt seriously, tho I am sure everyone was finding bruises and sore spots for the following several days.

Praise our heavenly Father above no one was hurt.

Lori

OUCH! No more Ruby Tuesdays like that one please! Glad no body was severely hurt! I see you've been vacationing again ... do you ever stay home? I'm pretty hungry now after seeing your shrimp poboy. Gotta run and eat breakfast!

that made me cringe.

glad no one was seriously hurt.

Wow - it is so hard to image that it would cost that much to fix it!

Will next week bring us a photo of a shiny new red sports car? :)

Yikes! Glad nobody was hurt at least. Too bad about the car.

Oh no!

Too bad it was totalled. Nice car! Hope everyone is okay.

Hope you, Mrs. Jim, and Adi aren't getting much bad weather from Gustav.

Gday Jim, Ohh im so pleased to hear nobody was serously hurt in the accident,Hope Mary Anne is ok... Take care

Oh Jim, it's terrible! A beautiful car like that! Oh I'm so sorry! :(

Oh my!!
I'm glad to hear no one was terribly injured.
