We are flying our home flag today for her
U.S. America is flying our flags half mast in tribute to Queen Elizabeth III

.
A Lagniappe #1:  Our friends from Towcester, Northamptonshire, England,
[our flag]
invited us to watch with them for the passing of Queen Elizabeth on her way to open Parliament.  "We didn't see the little mouse but we did see the Queen
I tell people that she waved to me.  She was in her carriage on her way to address Parliament on their opening day.   Just our luck, I had brought my camera but wouldn't you know on this particular day I left the battery at the flat in its charger.
"So this picture I did not take but rather it is a British press release photo which I photographed with my camera. . . " (Read more and see more of our London of Spring 2012 holiday here.
Note:  We also saw her, coming out in her Land Rover from the Balmoral Castle, we were going in and so we pulled to the side while she was passing us.   Mrs. Jim and I liked her a lot, as many times as we have been to the U.K., she seemed to us as our Queen also.  May she RIP.

Starts with "J":  Jeep starts with "J".  Seems we have at least one Jeep on every street on all the blocks around here.  Lately this model is most seen around here; it belongs to our neighbor.

Growing up, as they came available for folk to purchase after the WW II, I thought I would like one.  I also became attached to the Jeepster.

A Favorite 1:  This is one of my two favorite Jeeps I have posted on my blogs; it was parked outside a small bungalow in Key West, Florida.  We walked past this Jeep every morning but never saw anyone near it.  I'm thinking it belongs to a person who likes to take his Sunday car out in the Boone Docks Could be a lady, I'd guess in her early thirties.

A Favorite 2:  A local Jeep, parked in the grocery store lot in Conroe, Texas.  I wouldn't leave my dog unattended there in the back.  If you tried to take Adi she probably would have gone (she died in 2013).  The one here looks a little afraid but would probably go also.

A Lagniappe #2:   Down the street is this Jeep which is parked every now and then in the street for a few days.  It seems to me as looking pretty worn and roughly used.   We call using the Jeep for fun, climbing hills, over rocks, and through large muddy puddles "Jeeping".

Our friends and neighbor when we lived at Montgomery bought this Jeep on the right so he could go Jeeping with his son and family.  Next he bought the RV so he could stay nights out in the rough with the rest of the Jeepers.  Before he and wife had to spend the evenings and nights at a local motel.  Our son also has an older Jeep that he drives as a personal car.  He bought it new back in the 70's.  But he doesn't take it Jeeping. (More here)

A Lagniappe #3:   To see more of Jim's Posts here with Jeepsclick here.
Count them:  Posts with Jeeps _____  Total Jeeps to be seen ____

Tom's choice, "Juice"O.J. is abbreviation of Orange Juice.  This is the Juice Bottle that we just finished drinking Wednesday.  Mrs. Jim wants to use the Juice Bottle now for watering her plants.  Plugged into the outlet is our coffee maker and the empty Wendy's take out glass which I use to place the grounds and filters for the garbage after brewing.

Reflections and/or Street Photos/Candid Captures:   We think this is Lisbon Correction:  This is Funchal, Portugal, near Lisbon, as we pulled out from a day spent at the docks.  Mrs. Jim and I were quarantined with the COVID and could not go off into town nor to Lisbon.

I suspect the Yellow vehicle at the lower left is a Jeep, not sure what model.
