The Letter "B" ~~ Weekend Roundup and Reflections

The 28th issue of Weekend Roundup for this year...(THE SECOND LETTER FOR THIS SERIES)
- the Letter "B" Prompts are:
(A) Starts with the Letter "B"; (B) A Favorite;
(C) "B" for Big (Tom's choice); and (D) Reflection(s).

(A) Starts with the Letter "B:  "B" is for Banana.  This KP again when we were at the local Sprouts Grocery Store.  She and I have gone through "D" with food, fruit and vegetables, I might have to use all kinds of food if I keep the grocery Food theme.  She will make the figure as were in my last blog, for the "YMCA" song enactment.

(B) A Favorite:  This is my 1998 Ford Mustang GT Convertible at the Walmart store.  It is a "neighborhood store", meaning that mostly it caries food items with some drugs, a drug counter, and household and beauty items, all limited to commonly purchased items.  We have two major Walmart stores within four miles away, this one is less than two miles.

(C) "B" for Big (Tom's choice):   This is an old black and white photo that Mrs. Jim found when she was "downsizing" her junk room/closet.  The Big Tree is likely to be a Redwood, the cars are a 1950 Studebaker two door coupe and a 1952 Ford Customline Hardtop.  I don't know who owns these cars nor anything about the picture.  Mrs. Jim just 'found it'.

My first two cars were a 1950 Studebaker Starlight Coupe and then a 1952 Ford Customline Tudor. which I hot-rodded with a bored out, stroked, and ported and relieved Mercury engine using an ISKY Street Cam and dual carburetors.   It would outrun the 1955 and 1956 Chevy's and keep up with the 1956 Power Pack Chevy cars.

(D) Reflection(s):  A poor excuse this week, but there are Reflections in the white Walmart Sacks.  Again of the watermelon, grown in Texas, and then for sure in the white shiny plastic sack at the back.

(E) Lagniappe:  My first Car, the 1950 Studebaker Starlight coupe
[picture of my toy 1950 Studebaker Starlight Coupe, a cast iron model of my first car]
[I have quite a few cast iron 1:18 scale toy cars, this one included.]
Next week for "C" I will post a list of all the cars that I have owned.
