Friday’s Hunt v 1.9 -- "I" is for ...

Friday's Hunt the week of February 26th is :  (1) Starts with "I"; (2) Week's Favorite; and (3) Something Blue

1.a.  My "I" is for "I'm Watching You."
Actually we both were watching the little tug boat move our ship away from the dock where we boarded.

But Mrs. Jim (here) caught me taking her picture.  Most time she humors me and doesn't complain.  Mostly, when I'm driving she isn't real keen on that, taking pictures of her or anything.

1.b.  My "I" is also for Italian Food.  I found a whole lot ready to take home and heat at our local "Trader Joe's" grocery store.

2.  Week's Favorite would be younger kids art especially when it is my granddaughter's.  This may be her first cat, for sure the first I can remember.
Do you remember your grandkid's art work?  You may have some salted away for future admiration.  Chances are you won't look at it very much.

Then a while later, when your kids or spouse is going through the things you could not longer take with you, most all of it will get trashed.

Do you remember your first grade art?  My mom saved mine, it was a boy with a horse, both were stick figures.  I never graduated from the stick people drawing stage, even after a few 'Art' classes. (link to the boy, I still draw him)(link to my Stick Man book and theatre play post)

3.  Something Blue:

That would be the "Headless Girl Dressed in Blue."

You may have seen her wearing something else but her favorite color is Blue.  I love her heart necklace.  Wish I could remember where we were and I would get one for Mrs. Jim (shhh).

(4)  A lagniappe for you, a Poem for You:

Red Radish and the Beet
.
Said Red Radish to her friend Beet
“I’m Queen Vegie here” in her tweet
Corn said “real corny”
Trumpet vine, “horny”
Mary C picked them both, to eat

The Fine Print:
 - Teresa of Eden Hills is running this meme, Friday's Hunt. She has three alternatives for us to post about but this one, Alphabet series, will be the one I will try to follow and post about.  - Her rules are: "Welcome to linkup for Friday’s Hunt. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter."
 - The Mr. Linky address
here has a list of others who are participating if you would to read what these folk are doing for the Friday post  - For the week of February 19, our assignment was to post on any or all of these ideas: (1) Starts with I, (2) Week’s Favorite, and (3) Something Blue, and (4) another lagniappe poem for you.

First Grade Art ~~ Warm Heart Wednesday No. 015

First Grade Art warms my heart, especially when it is my granddaughter's.  This may be her first cat, for sure the first I can remember.

[again or how you do it for larger still] .

My first stick man looked very similar to this one.  We still have the boy and horse but I have no idea where it might be.  Lost?

Did you ever read the "Stick Man" book?  Or see the play? (link)
I don't know if it played in the U.S. or not.  It was playing in London but we didn't see it.  I read the book.
