More Futile Thinking -- MidWeek Blues
Impish Elusive Nothings
a wordless little poem
Words eluded me today
for that I will simply write
tomorrow or yesterday.
Meter here abandon care
a bit of nonsense today
without those words nothing's here.
Rhyme it surely I can do
missing words not a problem
I do this lark just for you.

If you want to post a MidWeek Blues picture, go get directions from Rebecca by clicking on the logo picture on the right. She has a Mr. Linky and good directions . Just do what I did. .
Or do less. All she requires is a BLUE PICTURE, you don't have to write.

As always you find some way to entertain. I am sure many relate to the sentiment. That's why I stick to the camera...words always elude me.
Hi Jim ~~ I liked your poem and it served as a blog. Well done.
A very Happy Birthday for Friday- I
hope you have a wonderful day with
many Happy returns of the day.
I am glad you enjoyed my post and the jokes. I had a wonderful weekend with daughter Kathy and her family
and I posted some photos. We all had a great time together. Little KP has grown and has a lovely smile. How lucky were you and Mrs.Jim to have her for a few days. Her first holiday with her Grandparents.
Take care, my friend,Cheers, Merle.

Quilly, having grown up on a farm, I always fill my post holes.
Thanks Doug. A very little inspiration if any?
Nessa, I saw your scary mask last night. It was terrifyingly funny (wierd)!
Thanks, Rebecca. My photo blog hasn't had many photos lately. I enjoy looking at yours.
Merle, you have such an attentive family. Similar to mine but much larger. We are looking to having KP on a cruise with us like some other grandparents do.
It will be close as before long we will too old for things like that.

Dear Jim,
your most important message is between the lines. (so I presume).
I am lucky to have an intellingent first cousin in Chicago.
She read your last comment on my blog and led me over to YouTube and Gunnar's favorite female singer Joni Mitchell. I actually do have Big Yellow Taxi on my iPod.
The text is great and she was a friend of Bob Dylan. I should have recognized the text immediately.
Shame on me.
Happy celebration the day after tomorrow.
