Not your typical 'fly on the wall.'

Oh what he seemed to Hilda. He WAS of the Order Diptera.

I totally agree. 139 characters.
clever take on the picture!
Jim is this a love story among flies? LOL-great take this week!
I'd like to see a close-up of that fly's big teeth. Love his name. Thanks for the laugh, Jim!
Was Hilda blinded by love??? LOL
The curse of the vampire fly?? *shudders*
Love the nickname, Dippy. I've had a few bosses like that. LOL
As part of our 4th of July tradition, we will be headed to the local Dairy Queen this afternoon. I will have a chocolate-dipped cone and think of you!

Happy Fire Cracker Day!
hmmm ... Aranea in Diptera's clothing perhaps?

Great job!

FYI, an aranea is an intelligent, shapechanging spider with sorcerous powers. In its
natural form, an aranea resembles a big spider, with a humpbacked body.

Thank you, Domminic, I appreciate knowing about this.
Others: Google it for more info. :)
Aranea, n. A genus of orb-weaving spiders including common garden spiders and barn spiders.
I can never figure out how to read your stories on here Jim. Do you have to belong to this group in order to read the stories??

I liked your critter photos and your reunion photo. I'm so glad you are not one of the deceased!!

I hope Cliff didn't get flooded out. That would be bad!
Jim, How come I didn't know you were in the same class with my sister Ruth? I didn't know until I saw her in the alumni pic below.
It was good to see you then and thanks for the call. The river has given us a good scare but seems to have crested but they expect the crest to remain for about two more months. A gross miscalculation by the Corp of Engineers. They say they went by the book but it's evident that the book was wrong. VERY wrong.

btw, I remember all of your uncles.
haha- i wonder what order hilda was!
