Betty Lou was watching granddaughter feed her fish.

Don't forget the minnows at the bottom, dear.

Grandma it's a waste. They're all fish bait.

Well, she has a point. Very well done.

Have a terrific day. :)
The dialogue in the post is very captivating, Dr Jim :) It engages your readers' attention. Just like the colourful fish in the photo.
Cute and clever, I sense the inspiration of being around your grandaughter in this piece! :-)
I have always wanted an aquarium - but I don't know I would have very much luck if you know what I mean!
But those minnows need to be plumped up so that they'll be A-1 fish bait. Very creative, Jim!
Take care of the minnows, and the sharks'll take care of themselves, eh? Hehehe!

BTW - this is Penny here, Alias Jinksy, if that helps?
Ah, the little fishes. Nice one.
Cool. I can imagine a savvy little girl saying this to her grandma.
hahaha. she made sense.
Yes, why should we waste fish bait! Witty take here, Dr Jim!

Very clever post, Jim! I can imagine my grand daughter talking to me like that. LOL but I will have to wait a long time for that to happen. Your writing is always poignant and so much fun. Mine is here
