Six Word Saturday ~~ Mrs. Jim's Status Update

my Six Words:
It got chilly; I made chili.

 Six More Words:
Sky blue sky; snowy golf course

 and Six More:
Cast cut off; walking boot now

Bunion surgery was the easy part.  It gets harder afterwards with the walking with crutches for a month, wearing the boot another month, and toe therapy for the repaired members.

With the cast off we can now start Mrs. Jim's toe therapy.  That involves bending the joint at the end of her foot.  It must go both ways, up and down for the big toe and the second toe.  The big toe was straightened and has two screws, the next toe was shortened and has one screw.

The little dish is our "count to 10" pea counter machine.  Each toe must go up and down 10 reps three times a day.  If we can work off enough scar tissue by February 28 then she will not have to go to a professional therapist.

Oh that chili looks great. I'm hungry.

I'm so happy the cast is off. I know Mrs. Jim will work hard so she won't have to go to physical therapy. I've got two more visits and I'll have a month worth of physical therapy done. It's worked too.

Have a fabulous weekend you two. ☺

I like the looks of that chili!

Nice chilli! :)
Goodness, that therapy looks like hard work, Jim. Painful too, I imagine. The poor missus :)

Jim, she's got good courage, to have that done. Good luck to her, therapy is sometimes the hardest part...

Chilli looks yummy. The plaster is very cumbersome she must be glad to have that removed. Hope the home therapy goes well.

Cool six word stories; I hope Mrs. Jim has a full and speedy recovery!!

Perfect for the cold weather we all seem to be having.. I hope Mrs. Jim feels better soon!
