Lilly was holding on for dear life. She didn't appreciate being strapped in this cage.

But the crazy circling whirligig was out of control.

Dick stuck out his foot to touch the ground. He wasn't prepared to appreciate losing it.

Make matters worse, a runaway tiger scarfed it up.

°Written for Succinctly Yours – Week 64
°The Prompts: word of the week, 'appreciate' was selected by
Grandmathanks to Pat and Jerry for this week’s photo.
°It's posted on her blog,
Grandma's Goulash
°Her Rules: Use the photo as inspiration for a story of 140 characters OR 140 words. It doesn’t have to be exactly 140, just not more.
°Using the word of the week is not required. This week I elected to use it, sort of.

These are both great, Jim. There's nothing worse than an out of control whirligig. You cracked me up with the second one--what a unique take--Dick sticking his foot out, losing it and the tiger scarfing it up. What a good imagination you have!

Well I appreciated this post. Just saying.

Have a terrific day. :)

Great post and photo.

They were having a scary time, I think.

I can almost feel it whirling out of control! Dick really shouldn't have stuck his foot out should he? ;)

I feel very sad for Lilly, Jim. You ought NOT to have made her go on that ride.

Hmmm. Your second tale was rather macabre! (But you knew that already, didn't you?)

Okay and this is why I don't go on rides like this! lol sandie

It's lots of fun in such rides. It looks menacingly dangerous but the youngsters are not bothered. They are taken in with the fun more than anything else.
Both your MF are great,Jim!

Hank

I always look forward to your unusual takes on the SY prompts, Jim, and you've done it again. Way to go.
